Pennywize is now offering a completely free basic service for webmasters. You will not be required to enter any credit card information to create an account, and you can get as many of your sites up and protected instantly as you want. (Terms and conditions apply - see below).

Pennywize has a new pricing schedule which makes it even easier for webmasters on a tight budget or first time webmasters to get get protected without paying a monthly cost. Below is the new pricing schedule as of August 1, 2001:

How it works
Click on the button at the bottom of this page to create an instant 'Free' account right now. You can then immediately protect as many sites with Pennywize as you want.

On the 'Free' plan, you will get all the regular features of Pennywize except disable. (The 'disable' feature is what automatically shuts down accounts and IP addresses if they are being abused on your site).

When you are satisfied with the results that Pennywize is yielding, you can go ahead and upgrade your account to the next plan (or any plan) of your choice. All fee paying plans entitle you to all Pennywize features (including account disable) as well as free technical support.

What are 'Logins'?
Once you have a Pennywize account, you can protect as many sites as you like under that account, whether that's one or one hundred! There is no fee for protecting extra sites, unlike the old Pennywize plan.

'Logins' are the sum total member logins per day across all the sites you have in your Pennywize account. This does not mean how many members your sites actually have, just the number of members logging in per day for all sites.

Pennywize will only record statistics for maximum number of logins allowed for your plan. So, if you are on the basic plan, Pennywize will record upto the first 300 member logins per day. Logins after that will be ignored, and you will need to upgrade your plan if you wish Pennywize to monitor these.

As your site grows in size and you have more and more members are logging in per day, you will need to adjust your plan accordingly. Pennywize will automatically send you a notification if your logins are exceeding your plan limit.

Support and Installations

Our friendly support staff are here to help you with any queries you may have. We have email support which is monitored continually by our trained technicians. All technical support by email is free. All fee paying customers requiring first time installations are free. Customers who are on the 'Free' plan and who require installation will need to pay a $10 charge (per site) which goes directly to our technicians.
